Mini-Camps
WINTER/SPRING MINI-CAMPS, 2012
Please join us for our winter and spring break "mini-camps."
They will run as long as enough kids sign up.
Below are the details, for anyone who is in town and may be interested.
- The camp will be outdoors and we will hand pick activities from among a list of our all-time favorites. That should get us climbing on Bonfire Rock (the kids know what that means!), getting into the woods and exploring all of our favorite areas of the park. We will have an indoor plan if necessary, but if we luck out and get some snow, we will definitely take full advantage!

The camp will run Monday-Friday, the following weeks: February 20-24, March 19-23,
March 26-30 and April 9-13. - We will meet at the SE corner of 81st Street & Central Park West at noon. This park entrance is called Hunters' Gate and just inside of it is a little grassy area, where we will gather each day. We will return your child to the same spot at 4:00 p.m.
- Besides dressing appropriately for the weather, you really only need to send along a little snack (granola bar or something similar) and a water bottle, as long as your child doesn't mind carrying it. Everyone should hopefully have time to get a decent lunch in before drop off and then if you feel your child might need a little snack before the end of the program, we'll leave it at your discretion whether or not to pack one.
- The cost of the program is $75/child/day. If you sign up for all 5 days, the cost will be $350. This will likely be a small group, limited to 14 participants, with a minimum of 5. Signing up for the whole week is not required -- as long as we have 5 kids each day, the camp will run.
- Please make your check out to Mohr's Explorers, LLC (we do not accept credit cards) and send it in with your enrollment form, which you can find at the bottom of the page. If you have filled one of these out this school year, you do not need to fill out another one.
